Learn & Develop with Nenko
Learning and being given the opportunity to learn ... something obvious to many of us, but unfortunately this does not apply to everyone in our society.
Compulsary education is sometimes seen as a 'must', but what if you are excluded from the right to learn? That because of a disability, your health problems or home situation; you do not feel suited within the regular education system? As a result, you may already be behind by 1 - 0 while every young person has the right to learn and develop, regardless of your situation.
Nenko would like to draw attention to support a large group of our clients, which unfortunately is often in a difficult situation when it comes to compulsory education. People with a (multiple) physical or mental disability regularly have to comply with compulsory education exemption, which denies the right to education. Usually this compulsory education exemption is not a voluntary choice. Nenko therefore supports the opinion that children who are excluded from the regular education system must retain the right to education. All this requires a seamless cooperation between healthcare services and education, where the possibilities of the child are the starting point and not the rules and financing of healthcare and education.
In addition to young people concerned by compulsory education, Nenko also supports elderly people who no longer need education, but who still want to keep developing in order not to decline. Nenko is starting on March 21st with the theme 'Learning and Development with Nenko' in which we will highlight various topics and articles for different target groups during the coming weeks. On our website and social media you will find inspiration for a suitable product, you can read our advice and tips and this way we hope to give you support, to make learning and development fun for everyone!
