The MEDILAX Recliner is specifically designed for use in care homes and assisted living groups. With a combination of stability and flexibility, this chair offers optimal comfort and safety for the user.

Stable and secure: Equipped with two fixed legs at the back and two non-braked wheels at the front, ensuring extra stability while limiting mobility.
Optional: Massage unit with heating function for added relaxation.
Hygienic & durable: Upholstered with water- and urine-resistant faux leather, easy to clean, antibacterial, and antifungal treated.

Dual motor: maximum flexibility

The footrest and backrest are independently controlled by an electric motor. This allows the user to adjust the chair into a wide range of seating and reclining positions. Note: This model does not have a lift function.

Legs or wheels?

For added stability, the chair is equipped with fixed legs at the back and non-braked wheels at the front.

For users who sit down with a fast downward motion, a version with fixed legs at the back is safer. This is the standard version, as wheels with brakes could move unintentionally in such cases.

For a recliner without a lift system, fixed legs at the back are recommended. If the chair does have a lift system, four wheels (two or four with brakes) are an option. During the use of the lift system, the chair rests on the fixed legs, temporarily lifting the wheels off the ground.

The configuration is customizable: legs or wheels (with or without brakes) can be adjusted at no extra cost.
