The MEDILAX Recliner is specifically designed for use in group living environments. Combining stability and flexibility, this chair offers optimal comfort and safety for the user.

• Stable & secure: The recliner comes standard with two fixed legs at the back and two non-braking wheels at the front. This ensures extra stability but makes the chair less easy to move.
• Optional: Massage unit with heating function for added relaxation.
• Hygienic & durable: Upholstered in water- and urine-resistant synthetic leather, easy to clean, and treated to be antibacterial and antifungal.

4-Motor Lift System

The footrest, backrest, and lift system can be operated independently. Additionally, the chair has an extra motor that allows the entire chair to tilt backward in any position. This enables the legs to be placed higher than the head, which is ideal for people with tired legs, varicose veins, heart conditions, or circulation problems. The extra motor also allows for height adjustment (up to 18 cm).

Legs or Wheels?

For added stability, the chair is equipped with fixed legs at the back and non-braking wheels at the front.

If a rapid downward movement occurs when sitting, a version with fixed legs at the back is safer. This is the standard version. Wheels with brakes may accidentally shift in this case.

For a recliner without a lift system, fixed legs at the back are recommended. If the chair has a lift system, four wheels (with two or four braking) may be an option. When the lift system is in use, the chair rests on its fixed legs, temporarily lifting the wheels off the ground.

The finish is customizable: legs or wheels (with or without brakes) can be adjusted at no extra cost.
