Is this chew toy indestructible?

These chewing tools are suitable for people with disabilities but must be used under supervision. No chewing tool is indestructible, so it's completely normal to see wear and tear. How long it takes is different for everyone, given their individual chewing power and frequency.

What is the lifespan of the chew chain?

The lifespan of the chew chains varies from a few weeks to a few months. This partly depends on the intensity of chewing. For example, one child can use the product for a month and the other almost a year. But every child will find their own favorite chew chain or fidget with us!

How do I clean this chewing jewel?

You can easily clean the chewing jewelry in warm soapy water or in the top part of the dishwasher. Just make sure that you remove the cord when cleaning, which is less resistant to cleaning with soap and water.

Black Dog Tags The DOG TAG chewing jewelry from Chewigem consists of 2 pendants in the shape of an ID plate. They are delivered together on a cord. You can choose to remove 1 plate, so that you have a spare. A tough chewigem chewing jewelry for both boys and girls with light chewing needs! (So ??2 ID plates are supplied on a chain). TIP: Buy an extra cord so you have 2 teething chains: 1 for home and 1 for school! Note: Some websites also sell dog tags or ID tags, but at a cheaper price, they are NOT from the Chewigem brand and might be less secure.

Chew chain and stimulus processing

Children with stimulus processing problems often have trouble organizing all the information that comes in through the different senses. As a result, they can become overwhelmed by all the impressions they gain in a day. Children who have trouble closing themselves off from all the impressions around them (hypersensitive to stimuli) sometimes have a tendency to chew or bite on clothes, hair, nails or pencils, for example. Chewing then helps to relax. Buying a bite chain is therefore a nice alternative.

There are also children who are looking for stimuli (undersensitive to stimuli) and therefore start chewing on clothes that supervisors or parents would like to unlearn. This chewing helps them to wake up their brain and focus. But it is good to offer an alternative.
