How can I disactivate this pet ?

The battery can be removed, which stops the operation of the animal.

How can I clean the pet?

With a damp cloth you can wipe the fur a bit, brushing also helps to keep it clean. Never use too much water. The mechanism on the inside of the pet cannot withstand this!
