The deep exploration area is perfect for the open-ended tactile investigation of materials and their properties, with the additional visual sensory element of light and color. The sturdy but lightweight unit is beautiful as well as practical: easy to move, with a slim profile to fit through standard doors even with liquid inside, and quick to clean. The sides and bottom of the internal well have been carefully crafted to make it easier to cover the base with only a small amount of liquid or other materials if required.
The LED unit has been optimized so the light floods the whole area of the internal well evenly, emitting a soft clean glow which changes color using the remote control.
