Green Time Out room
The room creates a safe place, without lots of stimuli. These spaces are better known as Time Out rooms and offer a safe environment for clients who need a moment for themselves during the day. In a Time Out room, there are no external stimuli, making the room ideal for relaxing when someone is overstimulated.
The purpose of this Time Out room is to supply an environment where the client can be taken to when he is so overstimulated that this person can hurt himself and others. Due to the low-stimulus environment, combined with the soft floor and wall cushions, this space offers an ideal area to relax safely, without running the risk of hurting themselves or others!
Our Time Out rooms consist of soft cushions that are urine-resistant, fire-retardant, and phthalate-free. In this Time-Out room, two colours of bisonyl were used. The floor cushions are realized in the colour 527 Olive green and the wall cushions are in the colour 220 Misty green.
