The Mathmos Space Projector is widely used in all kinds of sensory spaces. It is light and portable and very easy to set up and use. The Space Projector creates a beautiful, constantly changing light effect on walls or ceilings. The size of the projection will depend on the distance from the projector to the wall or ceiling and the darkness of the surroundings. The largest projection of about 4m can be achieved in completely dark rooms, projecting on a light-coloured background.

Can I use a liquid wheel and an effect wheel at the same time?

No, you can only use one wheel at a time.

How can I make the image of my Space Projector clearer?

You can make the image of your Space Projector clearer by turning the transparent plastic focus ring at the front of the device. This will adjust the focus.

Projector projects out of focus

The heat generated by the lamp of various projectors makes the image sharp when cold but get unsharp after a short time of projection when the lens warms up. So adjust the projector by average temperature, then it will be blurry by starting, but will sharpen after getting room temperature.

There’s something strange in my liquid wheel. What is it?

It’s possible that air bubbles or small irregularities are visible in the liquid wheel. Let the Space Projector liquid wheel run for several days, at least three hours per use, and this should resolve the issue. If the problem persists, please report it as a repair or warranty claim through our website.

My Space Projector is making noise. What should I do?

Ensure that your Space Projector is placed on a flat, stable surface and is not running for more than 6 hours continuously. If the noise persists, please report it as a repair or warranty claim through our website.

How large is the image produced by the space projector?

The darker the environment, the larger the image can be. The size of the sharp images depends on the different effects; liquid wheels can project sharp images in a dark room up to 4 meters / 13 ft. and everyone else will be able to give a sharp image of about 1.5 m / 4 ft.

How do I make the image sharper?

Rotate the clear plastic focus ring to adjust the image and make it as sharp as possible.

Can I use this projector in a bathroom?

Yes, the projector can and may be used in the bathroom, but caution as the projector is not water resistant. If you place the projector outside the water zones and connect the adapter above the suspended ceiling, for example, it is no problem.

The projector is equipped with a 12v connection, so the projector can hang there, but the adapter must be concealed!

Can the space projector project on the ceiling and floor?

It can project on the ceiling by rotating the device, but unfortunately not on the floor.

The Space Projector can be projected onto the ceiling by rotating the device. However, it is not possible to direct the projector towards the floor.
